Your phone becomes a camera across Chrome web pages. Pair it with a QR code and stream directly through your browser.

Get connected

  1. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Choose Load unpacked and select the project’s dist/extension folder.
  3. Sign in to the RGHS dashboard as an operator and open a ready patient job.
  4. Click Run on RGHS, scan the QR on your phone, and start its camera.
  5. Approve the phone in the desktop extension. Select Phone Camera on your website.

Your camera service

Keep the server running in your terminal:

npm run dev

A real phone requires a reachable, trusted HTTPS endpoint or tunnel. Desktop localhost access works locally; LAN HTTP cannot access the phone camera.

HTTPS connects the pages. WebRTC carries the video. Some networks need an optional TURN relay.

The phone page must stay open and unlocked. No recording is stored by this project.
